a rainstorm lends a much-needed breeze to the hot, sticky, paralysing air that has pervaded singapore since i got back in early august.

it's a sunday: i'm watching japan hour, and waiting.
waiting for this period of limbo to be over - a period of frustration, worry, but also rediscovery and renewal.
waiting for another farewell, another departure.
most of all, i'm waiting for a message - a message that says "good morning..or is it afternoon?"
august is nearly over. yet another august, another summer season (though from now on it will always be summer...).
i wonder what it will be like next august.
